200sx cracked block

my friend cracked her block on her 95 200sx and now said she would sell me the car for 200 bucks. I am thinking about buying the car and giving it to my girlfriend. but first it would need a new engine... does anyone know how much on average an engine for this car would cost? I'm on a 2k spending limit but i was hoping that would be more than enough lol...

should be able to pickup a sr20de longblock for less than a grand, hitup the shop forums for pricing, Im sure Driven concepts, XAT Racing, or Central Florida Performance should be able to accomodate you..

Stock SR20DE long blocks should run you less then $700, depending on condition, mileage, etc.
