Default KA-T turbo intake suggestions.

Installed the turbo today. Looking where the turbo intake is,it looks to be a job to install a hose and such to make the install look nice. I was thinking of cutting the elbow and having it rewelded to where its more at an angle pointing up. What do you think? Im hoping maybe to leave it be and hook it up the way it is to save money. Would an oem SR intake set up work? Any ideas? Im open to anything.
Thanks...

An OEM SR intake pipe would work great here. Or if you want to spend a few bucks (or can't find one) a 90* coupler and a 90* mandrel bent pipe will get you there, too.

Thanks for the link Steve. I saw that post and jumped on it... A also found another, but the asking prices seem to be little high. Im not really sure what they go for. I was quoted $50.00 from one and $40.00 from the other. Epstein suggested a 90* coupler and a 90* mandrel bent pipe. After doing a little shopping/research it would cost the same if not less then there asking price. I also suppose that going the 90* coupler and a 90* mandrel bent pipe would look better and have better flow. What do you think?
Thanks...

Just curious...what brand of turbo manifold are you running? I'm looking to do a similar setup on my car as well.

I post my questions here and on KA-T.org, that way I hope to get an answer. and hanging out at Driven Concepts. I was a little surprised to get more answers here then on KA-T. Not sure what brand the header is, but Im sure its a SSAC. I bought most of the parts used. My setup is:

* SR t25 Turbo
* SR o2 housing
* 3" Down pipe
* SR Injectors
* SR Fuel pump
* SAFC II
* FMIC
* HKS SQV BOV

Still learning/building and stressing out...
