Default 240sx seatbelt issue

about a year ago, i got in a fender bender and the drivers side automatic seatbelt stoped working, for a week or so it TRIED to work but couldnt move or something, then stoped trying to move also. i could crank it by hand but nothing automatic. so i figured it blew. well i got a new motor and track, when i got it it was in the foward position as if the door was open. so i figured it "probably works" well i swap them out and its just as dead as the original, doesnt even try to move either, and also cranks manually. so im figuring the motor and track is not the problem. i looked for fuses both under dash and under hood, and in the relay box in the drivers side under the hood, but cant find anything blown or relating to the seatbelts. has anybody else been through this or know where else to check for problems?

thanks.

Either take it to the dealership (seatbelts have a lifetime warranty) or just swap in S14 manual belts.

I have some S14 belts for ya....I think I still have them. THey are the rears...work just the same as the fronts though. Let me know if you want them. I'll let go of them for cheap... Automatics suck.

went to dealership today and they are infact a lifetime warranty, appt on thursday. ill see if they give me any crap about it, or try to slap in s14 belts. personally i actually like the automatic ones, its less i have to do, never underestimate my laziness.
