Are you sure about this? I never heard anything about him blowing it up on SupraForums. I know he was going to pull the motor and put a 3.4L in it but I never heard anything about him actually blowing the motor up.

8.77@160 car broke right before hitting the traps..the car hit the rev limiter and did something to the cam gear and spun it..motor jumped timing and oil everywhere..prolly a rod or two broke..

we are running 315 65 15 MT drag radial (30 inch tires)

J30 rearend..which i think is the problem since the gearing is 3.91..we ran out of gear..the skyline rear end is coming on next so we can go faster with out reving it to 9k....

Yeah he messed it up the run after but it's supposed to be running again and he's supposed to be coming down for this event there trying to organize. The following seems like a very promising event if it goes through.
