Default Converting s13 4x6 to 6x9

Hey Everyone! I'm tired of the tiny ass 4x6 speakers in my s13. Does anyone know how I can convert atleast the rears to a 6x9 size? Any pictures of custom mounts would be awesome. Anyone selling mounts?

HAHA, im about to do this this weekend in my s14. Ill do a mini write up afterwards but my plan is to just jigsaw the shit out of the rear dash to the size of the 6x9 and drill holes for the mounts. Im tired of weak ass 4x6 in the rear.

Sticking 6x9's in an S14 parcel shelf is in no way similar to to putting them in the sides of an S13 hatch. The S13 hatch has the worst rear speaker mounting provisions of all time. You're stuck with 4x6's unless you want to fabricate a bunch of stuff and not have the plastic fit.

If you trim out the front door panels around the screen deal that covers the front stock speakers, it is the direct size for 6x9's. And yes the magnet will clear the window rolling up and down

rear.

talking about rear speakers.

6x9s for the rear of the car.

the rear speakers is what he meant.

its in the rear of his 240 where he wants to put the 6x9s.

in the rear.

drama just seems to follow you eh? IMO 6x9 in the front door panels would look waaay out of place. Upgrade your fronts to 6.5's. There are writeups on NICO on how to do it.

BTW: Im an idiot. I dont ahve 4x6's, i have 6.5's all the way around. Either way, they are small and shitty and getting upgraded.
