Anyone know if and where I can get my HICAS steering rack rebuilt? Approx. how much does it cost? I dont really want to spend $500 for a new one and I dont want a regular rack either.

 

jus buy another from advanced they run like 300

Yeah, I need to replace mine's too, but not hicas.
too much free play on the steering wheel, and it makes weird noises as if i have a loose lug nut.
Our local auto supply stores should have them (remanufactured) since hicas was available here on the S13s

Hey try Fred cox auto they might be able to help you out. they work on my car all the time. deal with alot of modded cars. pm me if you want the number, they are righ tnext to united speed world.

why not buy it from a local auto supply store since it's rebuilt too???

 

because they want $500 for a hicas rack, and only give a 1 year warranty instead of a lifetime.
