Default opinions wanted .. adj. suspension

Has anyone had any experiance with the cheaper suspension arms for the 240sx sold on ebay, vs the more expensive ones sold by spl parts, or battle version??

For example, the adjustable ruca. in this ebay auction for $100 eBay Motors: 95-98 240SX S14 S15 Rear Upper Camber Arms Kit RUCA (item 280039977290 end time Oct-26-06 12:01:59 PDT)

vs. this ruca sold by battle version for $295 The Battle Version Rear Suspension for the Nissans was mainly developed as a package kit and using all the links will give you the

or even the one from spl parts for $258 http://www.splparts.com/Parts/S13/Su...rMultilink.asp

Please give reasons why.. experienced opinions are best! Thanks!

As per your example, the big RUCA majority are similarly constructed. Personally, what makes or breaks them will be the ball (hime?) joints.

i bought an ebay one like a year ago and installed it, my only complaint is that you have to oil the ball every once in a while to keep it from squeeking. no major problems though

Just buy those cheap ones. Yeah the ball does rust, but just put some grease on them, and if you can, find a rubber cover for it to keep dirt out of it.
Most of us go through a set of tires ever 6 months, so just check up them every time you get new tires.
I have those cheap arms for a year now, no problems. no squeeks.

what personal experience do you have with these joints? because you sure cant spell them correctly. you run powertrix on your car, and sell rebadged T3 stuff at your shop that already has surface rust on the uncoated mild steel where the rod ends thread in. eww. but its thick so theres a lot to rust thru so i guess its okay.

the BV/SPL parts will last forever. the BV arms are constructed out of some pretty pimpy materials, which make it pretty damn light for how strong it is. also everythign is made of material/coated so it will not deteriorate within reason. no they wont last 100 years, but theyll last until you sell your car.

SPL are some of the best constructed peices on the market as well.

you cant really go wrong with either of those two.

i cant say the same for the ebay ones. those are peices of shit. if you want somethign that not if but when will fail, then go for it.

if you want to do it right the 1st time, BV or SPL all the way. i've seen megans breaking lately,, JIC is also stuff, K Sport is good stuff (and i can get it for you stupid cheap).

but dont go with ebay. hell i can get you ksport for not much more than that, and all their products are corrosion resistant and ive never seen (nor do i see a reason why there would be any) problems with thier suspension arms.

as for buying cheap arms and keeping them greased. yuck, and yuck. you keep everythign greased. the cheap ones dont have strenght to them and sometimes will break under regular driving stress. do you really want that on a car you might beat the shit out of and hit somethign with? think not. if you want to factor in luck, then go for it. if not, buy real shit.
