Didn't you just get a new slave?

Like MV said, sounds like a slave.

If he just replaced the slave, chances are inexperienced-mechanic'itis improperly adjusted the pedal, causing premature hydraulic system failure.

If your replace any part of the clutch system, you should replace all the parts, the master is like 20 bux, check and make sure fluid is not coming into the inside of the fire wall, (bad master and will cause this) and also check the slave, make sure the slave is fully engaging when pedal is depressed.

Make sure the system is fully bled, (dampner is removed).

Next step.

Clutch.

if the slave has been replaced the master is probably what wrong, check for brake fluid leaking on to your carpet above the clutch pedal
