Default Squeaking Steering Sound...WTH

Makes a squeaking sound when i make turns to the left, but not the right.
Just a simple small turn to the left makes that squeak. it's annoying.

It's not the sound when you run out of steering fluid, it's just a simple squeak like opening a gate or something with hinges. Metal to metal rubbing.
I have suspicion (sp?) that it might be the rack & pinion, but not sure.

Check and make sure the srpings are seated right in the cups.
Check bushings and wet/dryness of the boots on the rack.

in other words. Get under your car and check shit out.

Get off the fuggin internet.

No time to take it to the shop. work and school...work and school
posting this only takes a few minutes. driving to a shop, explain to them, and drive back takes a hour.
Pretty much every 240 that i see, has a broken tie rod boot. maybe that might be the cause? driving for years with no grease on the bearings.

I lifted up my car, checked out the coilover, everything is fine and thight.
I think the rack is going bad. Driving around for almost 2 years with broken tie rod boots was sure a bad thing.
