ok i was out last night and i pulled out in grass and my car redlined(which i can do and usally dosent matter) and then it kinda died and now my motor sounds like a WRX and its slow. But im getting boost. So anyone????

o yeah and when i was pulling out i was at the top of first and alot of dirt went into my car could that clog it up??

 

Sounds like a rocker arm problem. You can easily check this by pulling the valve cover and looking at all 8 of them in the top of the head to see which one is the issue. It will either be broken or fallen off to the side of the Valve spring. Depending on you mechanical experience you may want to get some one experienced to assist you. You should invest in a set of rocker arm stoppers when you are in there and have them installed. This will help to avoid any further issues.

 

do your basic checks, sparkplugs, intercooler piping
check and a general look through out the whole car to see if anything popped off.

no i dont have them. there was alot of dirt in caked on my intake so i figure it was on my side mount too so i was gonna check that too, but im just checking shit. thanks

 

my timing was adjusted that day and after that it was idleing wierd could that have anything to do with this happening?

 

do you have a air filter on the car? I would say its your intercooler piping that has a leak. I would go over your whole piping system to ensure your not having a leak. It may not be a big leak, you may have put a hole in your IC.

ehhh sounds like either A 1 of your coil packs went and took a dookie on you or B your Igniter is fucked or C you have a Failing Spark plug. Im not a mechanic on Nissans but im just saying the probs ive had with my Sr and those were 3 main things that went bad. subaru noise is because 1 of your cyl isnt firing.
