Ok i was at my friends shop, and i was tig welding a diff, and he said he welded his with a mig welder so i tryed using the mig welder , now when i spin the diff with my hands it spins for a while then locks meaning not turning anymore then i brake it free by trying to turn it, and spin it again and it happens over and over what could it be? And have any off u ever used a mig welder to weld a diff before?

Could it be that there is slpatter in the diffbecause i used a mig welder?
