Default Good tires?

Hey all, i dont know squat about tires.... I was wondering what brands and models you guys favor a lot.

I'd really like to get Rain tires but i guess i'd also like some snow capability and must be rated for 120 MPH at least. On the Tires Plus letter scale (Q,R,S,T,U,H,V,Z) at T being absolute minimum.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

Im so far looking at Tires Plus| Tire Catalog

I kinda like how their specs are heading.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

This should be moved to the general thread section. You get more response and opinions there than here.
Dont tire rack have a questionaire program that helps you on tire selection?
use tirerack's consumer ratings and epinions.com

Yeah I just found out about that today, my boss and i were talking and then i mentioned that since i forgot to give my timesheets to Payroll / HR, I wasnt getting paid today and i'd have to wait till Oct 15th. He was like wtf when i told him i had this annoying tire air leak in the front right tire, completely deflates in 4 days. and i couldnt replace it till i got money (he nudged Payroll to give me 3 weeks worth pay for monday, woot!) so we spent a good 30 minutes looking on tire rack and talking about tire stuff. I really liked the Tire Rack site.

Oh and free bagels today, rock on.

Anyways yep, thanks for the reccomendation, but i wont delete this thread so that people know where to look.

You're the first person that never heard of tirerack.com
Google search for tires, and tire rack would be on toep of the list.

If you order tires, and they come from Georgia, the tires will be on your door steps THE NEXT DAY!!! at no extra charge.
Discount tires used to take 3 days, but my last order took 10 days
tire rack never fails. tires aren't always the cheapest, but the shipping speed wins my vote

be warned: Tires Plus sucks balls. They damage everyones freaking wheels! Their 'touchless' mounting is BS. They ruined my buddy's Iforged wheels.

IMO, buy from tires.com as they have free shipping, then pay Tire Kingdom like $125 to mount/balance them.

Good tires? What do you do? Autocross? Falken Azenis 615s. Hardcore street? Yoko Advans. I run Falken 451s. They're a decent tire and I've put good miles on 'em. I'm not a big fan of Toyos but they say the T1R's are good. Drag/straight line? BFG t/a KDW2's are schweet.

If you're just looking for an everyday tire, Michelin MXV4's, IIRC they're H-rated, they'll last forever, and NO tire is better than michelin in the rain.
