I have a 95 240 se and the old original ka motor was taken out and replaced with a '98 ka motor. I was noticing on the '98 ka motor there sems to be missing a cam journal all the way in the back? just to check myself i took a look at the old '95 motor and it does have a journal and cap back there?

shoulod my '98 motor have one or did they do away with it for some reason? There does not seem to be anything missing where the journal should be besides the cap as far as the casting looks....

is the '95 head superior in anyway vs. the '98 head?
