Default 180SX Breaks Help

I put the breaks and rotors from my SR clip on my 240 because they were larger and privided a lot better stopping power. I have had them on for about a year now but it is time to replace the pads. I took them off and went back to stock and I cant stant it. Does anyone know what application I can reference at the auto parts store for replacement pads or am I just stuck with the stockers until I upgrade?

I'm confused. after the 1-year usage did you return to stock pads? or stock calipers/rotors/pads?

I'm not familiar with jdm s13/s14 brakes but i doubt they are a huge upgrade from OEM stock. If you want good breaking keep the stock calipers/rotors and get some hawk pads. Hawk pads are excellent and will have a greater impact on your stopping distance than 180sx brakes. If you want really good breaking, get z32 rotors/calipers and hawk pads. If you want insane breaking, purchase a big brake kit from enjuku racing. they offer the wilwood kit for very cheap, and the stoptech kit for the price of your soul. Good luck.

Actually the 180 SX breaks were a bit bigger then the S13 OEM's and made a HUGE difference in stopping power. And yes I meant to say I changed the calipers as well.

well the hawk pads for the oem 240sx brakes are readily available. maybe someone else might be able to give you a part number for the jdm model. but hawk pads will more than make up for the difference in the oem and jdm brakes. my .02
