Stick with the KA, or save a thousand more for the SR swap.
Every SR swap requires AF tune, which is ~$300 because japan's environment isn't the same here in the states.
Most likely you're gonna do need a new clutch too. And alot of other things to complete the swap. I'd say save around 2800 for a basic SR swap.
If you buy a cheap motor-set, most likely it's been not well taken care of in Japan.
Any custom nissan shop stock SRs. Check out SideHappySide, he has a good motor-set F/S

eg-6, if you wouldnt mind, tell us the scope of your cars setup, and what you want to do with it.
if money is low, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the KA motor replaced with a healthy one, and buying suspension and other maintenance parts for the car to make it driveable and handle well. here is the nice part, if you buy a KA motor now, use it for a bit (maybe until you save up for an SR swap), then you can always resell it for what you bought it for.
but if you have 2 grand, and your car doesnt run, dont waste it on SR. get the car running right, do your coilovers, do bushings, tires maybe, etc. dont be in a rush to get SR like most these kids do, get your car sorted first. anyone who thinks they need SR to go quick is a tard, ask evan.

Rob is sure correct.
I laugh at my friend who has a SR in his S13 with 15 year old suspensions. Car was 100% stock besides the motor. Felt like a boat in water Scares me when i rode with him when he took sharp turns "IT'S GOING TO ROLL OVER!!!"
Look at Funk's car. It's a KA with some mods, and he's doing great with it. He was really good at the last DDay event in Orlando.
