Do you really want to trust the life of your motor to a $130 dollar cheapbay WG? There's a reason Tial, HKS and other such gates are over $100 bucks more....cuz they won't break, stick or just plain suck. I say save up a few more pennies and go with the name brand that you can trust 100%

Dood. Buy an ebay manifold, an ebay intercooler, ebay piping, even an ebay turbo if you want. they might not last long, but at least you wont blow your motor.
as far as wastegates and bypass valves go, these things are designed as the last fuse between overboost and your engine. If a valve gets stuck, or something else goes haywire you can kiss your engine goodbye. If I were to buy any quality products, these would definately be them.

I installed an Ebay wastegate on a local 2.3 4 cylinder that makes 510 at the wheels at 30 lbs of boost. He's been running it for close to a year with no issues. It is an exact replica of a TIAL. The reason its so much cheaper is because they didn't do the R&D on it, they copied the design, they also don't need to make that much profit since they are a Chinese based company and their economy is very weak compared to ours. So if they make a couple of US dollars profit, that's alot to them.
With that said, I am against buying chinese knock-off's because I believe China is setting themselves up to try and take over the US in a few years, and buying parts from them is only helping their cause.

blow off valve you can do ebay knock off if you hear compressor surge the bov is toast if you hear random bov noise then congrats you saved $100
If you hear compressor surge (prolly during test drive down street) do not keep driving on it unless you want to replace the turbo very soon.
on knock off wastegates if you have random friends that have tial wg setups and a high boost spring the best thing to do is test it on their motor with the lowest psi spring possible (I think its 3.75psi) if that sucka boost creeps (IE passes 6psi) don't use it your friends motor wont break since his fuel management/timing are already super rich/retarded. (send it back, get money back and buy a tial)
