Also could be running really rich. 180deg out is another possibility.

1) check your timing
2) check your plugs/wires
3) check for an exhaust leak

 

i got the new chip on car took about 20 mins to do with the rewiring but thanks in other thread to kid that posted link to diagram on how to do it made things 100% easier. car runs smooth still no power.... im heading to a buddys house at 9pm to set timing with a timing gun.. and check for leaks at same time i know there isnt a leak i dont hear any awkward noises...

 

Umm... SR's aren't like KA's SuperK. The timing isn't checked by using a timing flashlight.
My memory is vague about this as i had a problem with the CAS (cam angle sensor) several months ago.

All you're doing is digging yourself a hole for that car of yours.
Your dad should keep a better eye on you with that car.
I try to fix somethings on my own, but when i come to something complex, i call up CFP for advise, or i just hand them the work because I'm confident that they will get the job done correctly, eventhough it's costing money, i have no headaches in the end.

 

well no thanks to most of you guys lol give morgansmazda rep points he fixed the car! redid all vaccume lines, and shit so car runs 199.9% better the other .01 % is me well no more questions from me but i guess rx7 owners know more? lmao

 

So it was a vacuum problem? That's it? Hopefully 199.91% better is enough to beat some NA Neons.
