I was just wondering what kinda whp jump I could expect from fidanza flywheel and aluminum drive shaft? any input is welcome

 

its not as much hp with the flywheel as it is engine response. the lighter flywheel will make the engine feel peppyer(sp) when you rev it

 

A while ago I saw a thread on here that said something like 2 horse power for every pound lost. (at th wheels)

 

It might be a very slight WHP increase due to loss of rotating mass with a lighter flywheel... but the real performance gain will be the throttle response feel, revving faster.

 

go with a chromoly flywheel like the ACT, aluminum can be trouble on SR's.

 

I have a ka24de. Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate all your help. I have already bought the stuff I just wondered what i should expect. I am having my motor rebuilt to stock with a spec stage 2 clutch, fidanza aluminum flywheel, drive shaft aluminum drive shaft and If I dont sell it a t25 turbo kit put together. This is my first 240 build so I dont really know what kind of power to expect. I would like to be able to keep up with stock z28s and gt stangs. Do you think its likely or are my hopes to high with this set up?
