i ran at test an tune today an i ran a 16.402 with a r/t of .323 @85mph is this what a s13 usually runs.the only things done to it are apex n1 cat back, 8.5mm wires, advance timing, z32 fuel filter, k&n airfilter,fuel rail mod. i though it should of ran better then that any opinions thanks

What was your 60ft time? The NA KA isn't exactly a quarter mile terror. 15's should be obtainable with a perfectly running KA. By the way, your mods really aren't going to make much power. The money ones are short-ram intake and a header, followed by a ROM tune.

 

I was only able to achieve 16.8 with my KA. And i had about the same mods. Then with a 75 shot of NOS it ran 14.1.

 

2.495 was my 60 it is ka n/a i know the mods arent going to make that much of a difference but 16.4 just dosent sound appealing. it runs good to its a pretty strong ka

 

yeah i was pretty much runnin 16.4-16.6

 

where could i get a rom tune from?or is it possibly a tune that i could do my self?

 

go sr, or turbo the ka, to get some real #'s

 

ouch a 2.4 60 ft.... in my case on the Z I have poor traction, but I doubt the KA is having that problem, sounds like it bogged?

 

well it sorta kinda bogged but not that bad i launched it at like 3500 rpm idk i think a det is in order in the future
