I can't get the axles off the dif!!! i've done a vlsd swap before, and i dont remember having to wrestle with the axles. i've taken a small sledgehammer, hammer and flathead, and even a blowtorch for fun. anyone have any ideas other than removing the axles?

 

are the bolts stuck? or are the axles stuck in the diff?

 

the axle bolts are off, and the axles are stuck on the diff outputs... There is nothing holding them there.

Axles sit inside about an inch, they have a little give both ways, you need to unbolt the diff and push diff one way, and pull other axle out. It isnt something you can really explain, just do it.
