I'm having some seriously screwy issues with my Z. I just want the damned thing to get back to pissing people off, and all it seems to do is piss me off.

One day the car will run very good, then 10 mins later it will pop and studder, everytime you get into boost. The car idles decent, with a few misses and pops here and there. The vacuum is decent at 17-19in/hg.

The car acts like it has a boost leak, but I can't find it. I'm at the point where I need some help. So if anyone out there thinks they can help. I'm more then willing to work something out with you for compensation.

After doing nothing... the car runs good again... who the fuck knows... tomorrow it will run like shit again.

I believe the distributor sensor thing is having issues. The fuel pump will randomly shut off, and if I push up on the connector that goes into the dizzy (the one that reads the trigger wheel (CPS?)) the fuel pump will come on again. So that's the only thing I can think of right now.

 

dude, spend the $200 on a megasquirt using Ford EDIS for ignition and your worries will be over. Nissan's wiring harnesses aren't the greatest anyway, especially when they are 20 years old.
