sr20 compression question
i have a sr20 blacktop,i ran a compression test today and it was 120 across all 4.i dont know what is done internally.is that normal or to low someone let me know

I think FSM calls for atleast 128 as long as they are all close together. You may have a thicker head gasket or something else lowering the readings.

120 is def low. The stock compression numbers in my L28 are 147psi and that's with a 7.6:1 Compression ratio.
HOWEVER the guage you are using could be incorrect. The fact that they were 120 all the way across is a good sign. I would try another guage to be sure.
