Default do bov's go bad

i've been running a bov from a supra, and i tried my friend's old blitz bov on there and the blitz wouldnt open at all. when both of the blow off valves are off the car, they seem to require similar amounts of pressure in order to open the valve. i know the lines are hooked up correctly and that there aren't any boost leaks anywhere. so is the diagnosis a dead bov?

Take the blitz apart and clean it out.
I had to do that once on my Blitz DD cause it was sticking. I used moly lube to re-grease the internals but I cant say if that was the right lube for the job... either way it worked.

Why didnt you post this in the General car thread?
You would get quick answers, and more feed backs on questions such as this.

Yes they do go bad like other people on here said.

springs and seals go bad. try adjusting the spring rate(soft/hard) that might help
