its not a sr lol thats a little 1.8 liter engine so its gonna take a little more time to spool... if u dont like it give me the motor lol or if you want to spool and hit full boost at like 2k go with the KA-T

 

That doesnt seem like too much lag for a CA18 but if you to be sure here are some things you can check yourself. Do you have a boost controller? Check your gaskets on your manifold, flange, and exhaust for leaks near the turbo. Pressurize your wastegate actuator vacuum line with an air compressor to check that its closed when it should be and that there is no slop or vibration. While you have everything pressurized also listen for any boost leaks. Turbo have shaft play? You can also take it in to ckeck to be sure you are at TDC.
