I have only used electronic boost controllers. I prefer the Greddy Profec Type S because it is easy to set up. Had a Profec Spec 2 but died so I went with the Type S because it isnt as flashy and takes 2 seconds to setup.

240SX: Blitz SBC-iD and iD-Meter
Fiero: Profec B Spec-2 (I am trying the Profec B Spec-2 for a while. If I don't like it I will switch to a SBC-iD)

I have used the under the hood style before but then switched to a Greddy Profec E01. Now I am using the Greddy Type S like a few other people said for the easyness. The E01 is a great unit but way to action packed for a basic boost controller.

I have used Greddy Profec B which was great, and simple. Then swiched to the AVC-R which worked good, however the MAP sensor was off by -.36 bar which made it more difficult to tune. Now im using the Blitz SBC-I Color. I haven't tried it since my car is down but I will let you guys know how it is once its in and running correctly.
