problems with the brakes
ok, here is the situation, i bled the brake lines and they seem fine. check the brake booster no leaks in the hosing. When i step on the pedal its really stiff but braking is horrible and is not instant, reaction for braking is bad. so what do you think it could be?
vacuum line hooked up the brake booster? any leaks in the vacuum line?

I'm having a similar issue, I'm leaning towards shitty pads with a very linear brake feeling, The person who owned the car before me had the brakes done.
I would say put some new pads on, wearever's from advance auto parts have a pretty good brake feeling for a OE replacement pad, and they're cheap so that would atleast help in the problem. And plus it never hurts to replace your brake pads.

how about...spraying brake cleaner on the pads and rotors to clean off any grease or oil that might gave gotton on there..
my car just came out of the shop for the same prob it might still be your brake boost the diaphram might be bad. did you happen to hear a popping noise i know thats what mine did, then my brake pedel got super hard.
Ok well ill check the brake booster, but when i hit the brakes it only goes about a few inches down and stops, but it doesnt stop the car at all, i have to start braking from a far distant. ill check it out again. thanks for the help.
