I guess I shoulda posted this for those who remember the ugly shit color Z that used to roam around pissing people off....

It runs. - I'm not back out terrorizing the newbs again just yet. But soon I hope. There are minor timing issues, some strange oil leak around the PS pump, and what might be a leaking rear main seal. After that, I still have to weld up the exhaust brackets, and get a few bushings so the car doesn't clunk and break apart under load. It has a couple months to go before it's ready to piss ya'll off again.

A lot of people said it should never have ran in the first place. Let alone how quick it was. A lot of people said it'd never run again, and hell, they're right. Why would anyone bring out an ugly demon like that in the first place is beyond me.... but I did it anyway.

Thanks Dan. It's very exciting to have the turd back. It's still in ICU - but today I hope to work the timing out, then it's on to more boost, big injectors and 400hp sometime down the line. I hope it'll be ready by the end of summer for one ot the TRack Days.

 

It still has a long way to go. There are several things that require immediate attention to avoid the car being more of a death trap then it was when I was doing 160mph on the bridges... so after some tightening of the chassis, some fixing of oil leaks, and minor issues with tuning and running. I'll be back.
