Default New z owner w/ some questions

Hey everyone well i have an 90 300zx w/ an engine swap non turbo but puts out 300+ from what i was told. Idk exactly but my question is when i get on the gas it will hesitate and then after a sec or two will run like a bat outta hell. can anyone give me advice on why its hesitating or an answer on what to do to fix it?

I don tknow anything about those cars.. But see if it has a fuel filter you can change. Fuel injestors may need replaced or cleaned.

OOOHH man another hesitating z32. i had one and did new injectors, fuel pump, fuel lines, 02 sensors, spark plugs, and even bought a whole new harness. everytime someone told me something diff to check, i did and i never got rid of that annoying stumble. i am sure that you can, but i finally learned to live with it, then i sold it. there are alot of things to check, how many miles does it have on the swapped engine?? one thing that i changed that made a real improvement was the fuel regulator and fuel dampner. check those as well.

unless the engine is "heavily" modded or on nitrious you are no where near 300+ hp. A friend of mine has about every bolt on available for a 94 300 zx n/a with cams and ecu tune by ztuner and he`s pushing 229 to the rear wheels.

a lot of things can cause the car to hesitate. Most likely it will not be the fuel injectors if all the cylinders are firing. I would say first check your intake filters and make sure they are clean. Change the fuel filter.

I had a 90 2+2 for about 1.5 years. They can be a PIA but make decent daily drivers.
