Default problems with my KA-T, need help

Ok guys here is the old and new problems I have. I did a KA-T in my s13...

I started..idled ran rich due to the 370cc's running off the KA ecu. (i have an AFC to be installed...i just need basic tune settings to get to a dyno).

Well it idled on its own but it sounds like an STI or something like its not firing correctly. I checked the plug wires, there all getting spark. I tapped the MAF to see if the car sputtered bad or stall or anything (someone told me to try that to see if the MAF was bad)

So then.... a friend told me that its most likely spark which is what ive been thinking all along. So he told me to take the dizzy outta my old KA that I took out since i knew it worked and swap it into the KA that I put into the car. I lined the dot and line up on the dizzy, put it in, plugged it in, put the plug wires on, put the coil wire on...went to start the car..and it just cranked over and over.

So i was confused so I swapped back the other dizzy that was originally in the motor cause i KNEW it made the car at least run and idle... messed up but it still idled. hooked it all up....went to start...and it just cranked over and over again just like the other dizzy.... IM STUMPED!

I checked for spark at the plug wires where they attach to the spark plugs and there getting spark... Could I have somehow managed to **** up the external coil even without touching it?

ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated

even if the plus wires are getting spark, the motor wont fire if the timing is off or out of order. i'd say try to put the distributor in the right way then see if it fires. if you get the car started, make sure you set the timing the proper way too (pull tps, idle ~750 or so), and i'd retard it 1/2 degree for every psi of boost you are running (so if you want to run 6psi, run 17* instead of the stock 20*).

it might have been that when you originally started the motor as turbo, it ran, but idled bad since it was pig rich with no s-afc compensation. it probably fouled your plugs out, then you might have installed the spare one wrong, and then reinstalled the original dizzy wrong again, or the fouled plugs just wont let it start.

pull the plugs and check them to make sure.

also after trying to start it a few times, it might have flooded the chambers with fuel (IIRC, all 4 injectors are firing during startup) so air them out or wait a while.
