Nice sounding truck. I find it shameful to domestic truck owners, that Nissan makes their base v8 bigger/more powerful then the domestic offering. Doesn't the VK56DE make around 50more hp then the Hemi truck engine ?
the titan out performs its competition in EVERY test when Car and Driver did the comparison. It out brakes, out handles, out accellerates, out tows, has higher ground clearance, higher payload, and so on and so on, over its competition...dosent seem like we should call them "competition" does it?! If I traded in my Frontier, i'd either get a new fully loaded 4x4 Titan Crew cab (like mine but newer) or a mid level Titan. 2 best trucks on the market for Gasoline engines.

why would you? the base models of both the tundra and the titan come with more shit than some of the higher end ford and gm offerings. and no i dont count the ridgeline as a truck, it looks like hondas attempt at an escalade ext.
my dad bulk orders trucks for the state agency, the ford f150s suck balls for reliability, but the gm trucks are tough as nails, and for a work truck you dont want all that cushy shit, as long as it has a/c its good to go here in florida. the pricing on the gm and fords are pretty low for what you get, which is why businesses will go for those two...most companies dont care about better interior materials or if there is a rattle or squeak here and there sometimes, work trucks are meant to be abused.
not that the tundra or the titan are inferior, but they know that ford and gm dominate the work truck force still and they aimed their trucks to individual consumers, but i still see alot of base model tundras rolling around here as work fleet. titan is still new, give it some time and they might take a little chunk out of it too.
