Default Q45 tb ??

I have seen on another fourm a person who us using a q45 tb on his SR with the greddy manifold.

my question is were can you get an adapter plate to mount this bad boy on? And has anyone on here done this? kinda was considering getting it when i get a new intake mani and instead of paying 350+ for a bigger TB i could snag one from the Junk yard.

let me know you guys thoughts on this, and what diffculty this might be.

thanks

Check this out, you might like it->http://www.zeroyon.com/pics/installs...ottlebody.html

Im not sure what motor your running though so maybe not.

I havent seen any plates around for a while, the ones I saw were weld-on so I dont know how you feel about that anyway. Greddy and the co. that makes the fake Greddy manifolds make some that bolt right up, but I havent been able to find one of those either. So I guess what Im saying is, I cant really help

Ive been looking on freshalloy and the consensus over there is that Greddy makes a mani but they are next to impossible to get, and the easiest way to do it is to have a machine shop modify the current intake. There was no (0) said about bolt on plates, which suprised me, but if its not on freshalloy then I doubt youll be able to find one. Somone did mention a kit from Tomei, but there wasnt any info about it.

All you would have to do is make a flange to weld over the existing TB flange. Then go in with a grinder to clean out any flow restrictions. Give me a call, I've got the TIG waiting....
