Questions & Comments on Suspensions
Post them here about any questioning on any type of suspension work.
Coilovers, (aftermarket) springs, roll cages, bracing, anything.
Plenty on here have. The difference is pretty big.
The only thing that i hate about racing strut & springs is that the ride is unpleasant and the price too.
I was kinda wondering, going over a bump, if the suspension becomes harder, wont there be more chassis flexing?
I guess thats why bracing parts work better when the car is equipped with racing strut & springs.

anything like i said. Just random suspension stuff.
Well originally i thought it would be a good idea to have the "garbage" in here instead of that thread on spring rates, but epstein and paulie disagree with me on keeping that thread clean.
When did Megans come about on building up a good reputable coilover brand?
Usually it takes years and millions in investments to get the kind of popularity that megan is at right now.

well obviously neither of those company's are allowed to tell you that...because then who in the right mind would spend more for the apex'i coilovers. You're gonna need an inside source...or look at the stamped factory part numbers on the tube...see if they have similarities like font size arrangement of letters before numbers or whatever. Thats my best advise besides actually going to the factory and following the product to the boxes.

I think the thread for spring rates would be a great sticky...its a good reference for those getting ready to make a purchase and/ or as a newbie info guide. It definately made me think about what i might want to pick up for my s13
