s13 prob
yes
pull the passenger kick panel off, unbolt the ecu from the car, leave the wiring harness connected.
if its a 89-90, turn the screw all the way clockwise, wait for it to blink 3 times, then turn it back counterclockwise....
This will initiate a set of blinks...
if its DOHC 91+ then turn it clockwise, hold for a few seconds, then turn back counterclockwise. This will also initiate a set of blinks....
All this must be done with key in on possition but car off aswell....
Then start counting blinks, on 89-91 red = first digit, green = second digit.
on 91+, you will have a slow flash meaning the first digit (or 10 first 2 digits for 100+ numbers) then sequential faster flashes indicating the second digit of the number, and then a pause, and the next number will come about.
Example is
Blink.........blink........Blink.........blink.... ....Blink
then
blink...blink....blink...blink....blink
then
.....long pause......
next number.
