will 97 ka24de work in 95 240

Default will 97 ka24de work in 95 240

hey just have quick question. will a ka out of a 97 work in my 95 240. local auto yard says no but i dont see why it would not. please chime in and let me know

i dont see why it wouldnt, youd prolly have to swap the sensors seeing 97 should obdII and 95 is OBDI but dont quote me on that. i have a Motor out of an S13 in my S14 and it runs fine...

so you think it would be easier to find a low milage 94 or older ka

Bingo. but a 97 will work just have to swap sensor and ish from my understanding.

find a 97 and swap sensors or find an older one and rebuild....

Well how is our electrial skills??? If you arent that good, just get like a early 90's Dual Cam

what does electrical skills have to do with it??? Sensors Basicly Unscrew and replace.... Its more mechanical than electrical....

step 1- drop 97 motor in

step 2- put 97 harness in

step 3- use 95 ecu, rewire 3 wires as per JWT's instructions (google it, it's on every forum)

step 4- beer.
