Default 240sx front seats- do any other kinds bolt in?

Okay, I finally got the 240 I've been looking for. But the seats have GOT TO GO!!! Nasty! I have a thread up in the WTB/Sale forum, but while I'm at it, are there any other Nissans that are swappable for the front seats? (Obviously the rears must be from a 240!) I've seen some really nice leather Maxima and Pathfinder front seats, so I'm just wondering if anyone knows if any others are bolt-in swappable?

Or... if you have one of those universal brackets that they sell for racing seats, does that mean you could attatch it to any seat that fits in the car???

S13/S14/S15 seats are interchangeable/bolt in. Not sure about Z32 seats , but i've heard that R32 GTR seats will fit with minor mods.

Any S-Chassis seat bolts in ...

R32/33/34 Seats formt he Skyline bolt in using 2-3 bolts and you can make the other one work . I prefer the R32 but they are quite exspensive but the suede like material hols you well and isn't too agressively bolstered as to be uncomfortable on long drivers ...

The S14 seats are a great alternative to the R32 at a much cheaper price ... They can usually be had for 150-200 bucks and are a direct bolt in and fit most body types well . Being they come out of hte newer model 240SX they are usually in much better shape as well ...

That's what I hate about owning these 2 cars LOL But I'm not the least bit into drifting... I didn't buy this out of bandwagon-ness. I wanted a sexy convertible that has some balls to daily drive, and i'm rebuilding the interior into a luxury style, cause I haven't seen that done yet. I'm painting the interior black and fabricating in a bunch of woodgrain stuff I have for BMW's and doing leather either black or the dark grey. I've been out of the audio scene for a few years now and tied up with my civic, so I haven't been able to get back into custom fabrication, which is what I'm best at.

So to me, this is a pretty original look for a 240 interior, and I'm keeping the KA24DE, so I'm REALLY not bandwagoning anything. This car only has 85000 miles, so I can turbo that if I want and smoke plenty of SR20DE's.

But my civic... I'm building a fully built LS/Vtec piece by piece. It's going to take a while (and money that I don't have LOL) so I needed something to drive daily.

If you have a convertible and want some interior ideas, you should really check out ZFever's vert. Probably the nicest S-chassis interior with regards to luxury (not race).
