Our 240 is nearly done...
hmm..that gauges and headlamps are pretty nice..
but there are some things that are REALLY BUGGING ME..
the doors..
the ricer wing..
the sticker on the hood..[reminds me of some hondas i saw in superstreet a long time ago]
the sound system in the back..[it looks too boxy..i prefer a smoother look]
and if the paint seems a bit flat looking..cant y'all get it to gloss more?
other than that...it put together really nice..but there is alot of stuff on there that y'all could really do without..but since yur an audio shop....eh
i dont like it that much..but its put together nicely..
btw..i like you company's escalade..the inside looks clean

Creophus: Stop by the shop anytime. We'll also be getting it to some shows, and QS&L before long.
OniS14: As I said, I expect people to either love or hate the car. The things you don't like, other peopel love. That's what makes this hobby great. As I said in an earlier post, its not really my style, either. If it was my car (not advertising for the shop), I'd have done it a lot different...much more subdued color, no Lambo doors, much stealthier audio install, etc.
As for the paint, it really is quite glossy...the pictures just don't show it. Partly due to lighting, and partly due to having to have small file size pics for the website. Also, the car had not been completely wet sanded and buffed yet (actually, still not done with that part). That being said, its not a '10'...I did it myself, and this is now the second car I've ever painted. Its lots better than maaco, and its probably as good as 75% of the cars I see at shows, but its not 'world class'. This is why I'm not in the paint business.
Thanks for all the comments, good and bad. Keep em coming!
