Default O2 sensor compatability

Will the 02 from a 300zx turbo work on a sr20det?
Both are 3 wire sensors and seems to share the same type of plug.
Im not sure if there is a differance from 13-14 models.
Thanks for your input.

Andy

The common compatibility is skinny O2 is the same as an 87 300ZX turbo. The fat ones (common on blacktops, might be same on S14SR) are anyone's guess. I have personally replaced a skinny one with an 87turbo one, so all those idiot who say it doesn't work have other problems. You will have to repin the O2 connector.

yea, I just was wondering because I have like 5 or so of them. I think the z has a red wire where as the SR has no red wire.

i have a redtop, and i used a 94 300zx O2 sensor i got from discount auto parts (bosch o2 sensor). i didnt' have to repin it or anything, but then again i was using an aftermarket turbo extension that was made for use with the larger style blacktop O2 sensor in mind.

Odd. The 94 300ZX O2 must have redtop-like internals, but with a fat bodied package. I know for a fact that running an actual blacktop fat-style O2 with a redtop ECU will not work right.
