sr20 starter

Default sr20 starter

the casing on my starter =for my 240 broke yesturday around one of the bolts. i read some were that the ka24d starter would fit, so i pulled my friends only to find out it didnt. which starter does work?

i think olny the solenoid will work from a a ka24de to the sr not the whole starter

yea i relize that now. i jb welded the starter casing for the time being but i dont think that will hold long. so is there any motor with the same starter?

Man I feel sorry for you , http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...e=23300-SR20DT cheapest i've seen them(maybe the only place i've seen that carries new ones) you wil have to check with locals (vendors or otherwise) to see if you can get a good one or one that's atleast salvageable.

holy shit! $600 thanks for the link any way

well i put the starter back on about 15 mins ago and started it up like 3 times and it looks like its holding. good thing i have a second car...

starter and water pump are RWD sr specific only. the only 2 parts that are a pain to get.
