ka-t cheap would be to buy it in pieces (groupbuys, ebay sales, forum shop) after completing kit check 10x times to make sure you are not missing anything that will keep your car down for about a month and just drive with your na ka until then. its very easy to spend 100 here 300 there than 1800 instantly.

had a comment made it a sig instead

I have an almost complete ka-t kit. All you need is a walbro 255 FP and 2 2.5" couplers.

Link is in my sig.

Depending on how much you can do yourself. I spent about 1100 on my setup and I built EVERYTHING except the manifold and HKS exhaust. I did the DP, custum made my own flanges, custom made intake, hot, and cold piping. I am actually considering making a template out of my cold pipe at least and selling them since it is the ONLY cold pipe i've seen that retains the stock battery location and all components. The pipe slips right between the radiator shroud and whatev the silver canister is below the battery and comes out nicely underneath level with the intercooler making a nice long mandrel bent u-turn into the intercooler.

Anyways, if you don't have access to the equipment to make your own parts you might want to consider a full kit either from a manufacturer like GReddy or from someone parting their setup like this guy above me.

^Listen to this guy, he knows kadet.
I got done with my SR swap. I spent ~$3,500.00. i did the best i could to find cheap parts. i got front mount intercooler, and a manual boost controller. Probably pushing out only 220ish at 12 lbs of boost. And its really not all that fast.

Do your own research on the difference between the two swaps...google.com

240Revenge, If you can make it to the Nissan meet Sat. talk to some folks out there about there setup. Now that I think about it I dont know if there will be any KA-T guys out there. Research on this site: www.ka-t.org It may answer some of your questions.

Oh, i also forgot to say that I did the swap myself. So $3,500 with no installation.

Oh, DO NOT BUY CHEAP TURBOS or Manifold! ssautochrome is a no no. avoid doing any business with them. There have been reports of turbos locking up and blowing up the manifold. And their down pipes usually dont line up.

Id say get a T25, which is the S13 SR stock turbos.
