Unhappy Valve Cover Gasket Leak??? **Pics**

So I noticed the valve cover on my KA was bulding up with grime and dirt, more than usual since I had purchased the car, so I decided to give her a nice scrub down...

I did the normal, engine degreaser, water, brush, etc. And it came out looking great like any other time. But after taking a second glance at it today, I noticed there was more build up, AFTER 1 DAY! There seems to be Oil leaking from the two top mounting screws on the valve cover. I tried tightening them, but the leak continues. I am guessing this is just a gasket problem and can be corrected with some ease. How much will this dig into my pocket? And Correct me if I am wrong, could this be something worse?

Thats no biggie. theres little circle washers that go around your spark plug wells. More than likely that ones leaking. autozone should have the answer, probably pretty cheap. might as well replace the valve cover gasket when your in there. 10 minutes problem solved.

I guess I'm just paranoid. I just got the car and something might be wrong right after I bought it, ya know?

i had that problem with my valve cover..did u tighten everything evenly?
n its gotta be really tight..there was some oil in where the top screws go..
i just took a papertowel and soaked up a lil bit of oil so i can get it to sit all the way down..
oh..and when i put my vavle cover back on..i put some high temp silicone gasket between the rubbergasket..sealed pretty good..
its only leaking out of the top bolt right? just clean it up and tighten good..problem should be gone..
