Default L-series engine Turbo's

Just wondering what the Z guys are running for turbo's around here on thier L24/26/28/32's. I'm thinking about goin with a Gt35r or T04e...still thinking about it.

we were thinking of going gt35r on our l28. don`t think there are many turbo swapped 1st and 2nd gens here. wolf used junkyard t3 and ant runs a t3/04e

It's going to depend a lot on your hp goal. GT35r would be real nice if you have the money. T3/t4 is common. One guy put on an hy35w from a cummins diesel with good results.

It's mainly on what you want the car for and how much power you are looking for. Which head you use and how well it is built up has a lot of role play in making big power with the l28et motor. With a big turbo you will have quite a bit of lag using a 12 valve head .. so you need a head that is going to rev out and be able to make that big power with a large compressor. The info above is all correct, T3/T4's are the most commonly used. Just put more information up and I can give you some idea.
