Default KA24E or KA24DE

Okay, I've got a '90 240sx with the stock sohc...she is dieing slowly so i wanna rebuild a KA...and perhaps run a little bit more than atmospheric pressure in her...the SOHC to DOHC seems like alot of work, I'm not really sure if it is or not but, what are the advanteages/disadvantages of a boosted DOHC vs a SOHC...and I don't want an SR so don't say it haha...

The SOHC KA is vastly inferior to the DOHC KA , they are also less tolerant to abuse from what i have seen. just buy a complete DOHC setup (they are cheap), and build it up while you're single cam is going out.

sohc's are not in my opinion inferior. Depends on what you want to do though. Like said above though, when doing any kind of swap, be sure to gather all parts, an information before hand. It sucks having an engine out of car, and relzing you need parts that nissan no longer makes, and you have to search the internet for the,

No...I really asked if it would be worth all the work to do the swap from SOHC to DOHC...but since you didn't acually read it and you don't have any useful information you just made a stupid assumption.
