Default Need a ? answered

Im picking up a 89 240 hatch from a friend with a blown motor. My question is how hard is it to wire up a twin cam motor in it since it had the single cam in there?

to get all the specifics you'll need to search, try here or freshalloy.com or zilvia, most every board has a writeup.

i do know that you'll need to pretty much get the DOHC power steering line setup, and the harness is pretty much a plug and play, i think the only wiring changes are to the plug that is near the ECU that sends signal to the instrument cluster, and i believe the wire colors are the same, they just need to swap plugs for it to connect right. and you need a DOHC tachometer too. theres probably more little things, but that's all i remember at this point.

Why not wait awhile, save up some money, and drop an SR in it?
Your going through the hassle of dropping a new motor it in anyway, may as well put one in that puts out 40 more hp.

plug and play, u need a dual cam cluster, have to get someone like amazon to weld the ac lines to the dual cam compressor for the ac to work. i haven't had any problem since i went dual cam from a single cam. i will probably turbo soon. bryan at rasta racing does this give him a call at 813-690-7977. he is the shit at doing good work for a good price.
