^^ Yeah, taylor has built up a great reputation at wiring conversions, but i thought $350 was a bit too much, so i asked around, and Sean at CFP said he would do it for $280. To me, this custom wiring should cost between 250-300. I know that a large some of the fee goes to labor, not material. If someone is familiar with the work, the amount of labor should be less. So i figured it's a 4 hrs job, and $70 per hr for electrical isnt to bad, so that totals out to be $280.
Sending my harness to another state, i feel uncomfortable with the shipping, and shipping to and back would be around $50.

pay less, get less.

 

The reason Taylor charges more, is actually very simple. Over the years, I have had my share of harnesses made by everyone and their mother. The conclusion is the simple fact that the complete harness is worked over. The complete harness is re-taped and or heat shrinked.

 

also, he doesnt just leave un-needed stuff there. its de-pinned, and all connections are soldered.

I have never seen Taylor's work until now, thanks Spottedmango. That's superior work there. Definitly worth that $350.

 

It's cool, for anyone that's looking carefully at the harness, the injector plugs are extended for the customer's GReddy intake manifold.

matt, you are acting in a manner that a moderator shoudl not act. not only are you making yourslef look foolish, but you are supposed to be a representative of enjuku. second off, if TR sponsors the cars, then the admins wouldnt have told me to do what i did, and, last i looked, there wasnt any huge TR stickers on the race cars in a manner that would equal the monies needed for advertising

 

ive been meaning to take pics of my engine, ill prob. do that tomorrow, and you can see how well it fits when installed.
