I-75 nb......heading out for a sunday drive.....go to pass in 5th gear and...poof...something happens...i loose all throttle power to the car....the gas peddle wants to send gas, but nothing is going through...i try downshifting....no.go.....so i putter to the side of the road, and shut the car down...no smoke, no knocking, no fluid loss...

thank goodness for AAA.....and as we were waiting for the tow...Nick(SN: Turkeyspot) pulls off to lend a hand....i big kind thank you for wanting to help out an injured 240. We havn't had a chance to pull the sparks and check anything out, but it's our "big plans" for the weekend. Hoping it's something simple!!!

 

If it is the motor I got a DOHC with 108K on it for sale.

you have a sidemount right? i dont see how they could be any easier to get to.
unless they were like, just laying in the trunk or something.

basically if your running a sidemount with no bumper opening, you might as well not be running anything at all.

and i dont know which jay, but im guessing he heatsoaked his car and did damage or something along those lines...
