hey guys i was doing some research and found this and thought it might be of some help to some one

Is this S13 or S14 ka? I want to say that the S13 has lower compression.

sohc 89's had 8.6:1 cr
90s had 9.0:1 cr

all dohc models were 9.5:1

that doesnt count altimas, someone told me they had a 9.2:1 ratio, or 9.3 or something but i never looked into it. i think the hardbody trucks used the same specs as the 240s being they used the same rwd block configurations, but i dont know what years which hardbody models used the sohc and dohc.


fyi - supertech now sells 10.5:1 forged pistons for the DOHC KA.....hmmmmm.

not sure it says de so i would geuss the dohc but not positive. people do make mistakes. i just found and thought it might save some one alot of time
