HELP A 240 owner out
if anyone knows a good mechanic or can help me put a new tranny in and replace the rear main seal please post here. i need someones help on friday and i dont have any money to pay a mechanic (they butt-rape you with labor fees and do the least amount of work not thinking about the customer or the car) to do it. if you help food and drink is promised.......

I need help also....I live in LOL pizza and beer for anyone that helps. It will cost me about $100 to get a tow to somewhere that is trust worthy I would rather offer that cash up to a TR member (minus food and drink if wanted.) I beleive (what I was told from several members and CFP) its eaither the clutch and throwout or the pivot pin off the slave. It would have to be done in 1 day on the weekend. I have very limited tools also.

I forgot to mention its an auto-auto swap. All i need is a grinder to grind off the welds on the bolts connecting the torque converter to flywheel and ill be good to go but everyone wants to charge me $250+ to do it

the problem with me paying thta is that he is the one who welded the bolts in and now he wants to charge me to take it out......all he is doing is fixing the rear main. if i got a grinder or had someone do it for me this whole thing would be done because i know people who can help em do the swap and fix the rear main i just need a grinder
