Skyline question
After recently blowing the motor in my Eclipse I've decided I want a Nissian once my Eclipse gets back from the shop on Tuesday so I have been seriously been considering buying an R33 Skyline from Japan and having it shipped over...I have been doing all the research on the taxes, shipping cost, I even have my car picked out but what I am wondering is what was the model change year between the R32 and R33, I found a 1993 R33 and I've seen 1993 R32's...did they make the R32 and R33 in 1993 or is someone full of it? Thanks alot.
check out this link, I think it will help https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/s...d.php?t=264576 .

In Europe Honda released the Accord with the H22 engine, they called it the Accord Type R!
heres the thing. we call our cars like this:
jan-jun of 2003 would be a 2003
jul-dec of 2003 would be a 2004
they call it by the yr it was built
technically, 94 was the change year, but if it was built in dec of 93, they call it a 93

Skylines, Good luck... Be sure not to post that you own one... things happen lol.But If its what you want, Buy one, there is no substitute to it. Theres a few places you can get them from. If i were you id try to find one thats already a Motorex car to cut down on some problems/difficulty making the car legal and such.
Lol thanks for the info...and how is it the wrong forum? I've already looked into everything and know all the priced for importing it.... terrifs, shipping, legalizing etc. I'm just deciding if it's something I want to get into
