D-Jetro?

maps sensors and maf sensors work differently. typically, the power FC for RB26 still uses the MAFS. im sure it can be converted somehow to MAP sensor, but i dont know for sure.
a maf sensor reads the air entering the engine.
a map sensor reads manifold pressure.

I hear you can eliminate MAF if you have D-jetro power fc.
Does anyone know what does d jetro stand for?

D-Jetro for PowerFC will eliminate the MAFS, replacing it with a MAP sensor and intake temp sensor, from what I understand. It will also allow you to do closed loop boost control. AEM's MAP setup reportedly makes more power than the MAFS system on S13, but I wouldn't doubt that it's partially due to the tiny stock MAFS. Ditching the MAF sensors also means that you can vent your BOV to atmosphere without penalty.

A new PFC D Jetro should come with the sensors and harness for them, but I would make sure it does from whoever you buy it from.
The downside is MAFS are more precise at messuring the airflow, but that only matters so much. MAP sensors work just fine.
There is also an Pro version which comes with some extra features mainly for drag racing like a built in 2 step which is great for GTRs. I dont however know if they make a D Jetro Pro or if they just make it in the regular version
