Twin turbo 2+2
Well just finished building a 2+2 Twin turbo z for a friend...using a NA rear diff....this thing is QUICK..quicker than any TTZ i have been in.....thought u all might be interested. Here are some pics..
i could do without that thing between the headlights, but good job. I road in this guy vinnie's, it was a 2+2 with a jdm vg30dett, and the N/A rear end, He had blown turbo's (thanks japanese motor importer)...he then put ball bearing T28's in it, with a nice front mount and blow off valves, sounded mean as hell, and was really quick, and it was only on 7lbs of boost. He walked all over an SRT-4 that consistantly ran mid 13's (13.5's). Deffinitely the quickest 2+2 i've ever seen/been in.

IT only has an HKS intake , 2 3/4 NA exhaust with mufflers , i used jap downpipes so exhaust would fit..greddy e-01 boost controller...computer is going to be remaped soon.Thats about it right now...going to take it to the track wed..ill post some timeslips.
The "fastest TTZ evar" effect is probably related to the fact that you're using the NA diff with 4.08 versus the TT diff with something like 3.56. Not dragging around the huge R230 or HICAS or electric sus or any other TT part doesn't hurt either. Those huge 225's probably make the car feel plenty crazy as well.
Nice... oneday that will happen to me. But since I'm in college, I don't have much funds and this is my only car. One day though one day... so far I only have about 2k saved.
